Affordable Housing Policy for Employees

Boğaziçi University offers affordable housing facilities to meet the housing needs of its employees. Provided for both academic and administrative staff, these residences can be rented at reasonable prices and offer a variety of options to improve the living conditions of employees.

1. Housing Allocation Process

Housing is allocated according to a scoring system determined by the Housing Allocation Commission. The scoring is based on criteria such as the academic and administrative responsibilities of the applicant, the projects carried out, the workload and the size of the requested housing. The duration of use of the residences is limited to 5 years, during which time employees can have comfortable and affordable accommodation with their families.

The housing offered by the university consists of lodgings and housing units of different sizes. These residences offer a variety of options according to staff preferences and needs.
