Public Access to Museums
Boğaziçi University provides free public access to its museums, exhibition spaces/galleries and artworks. Through this access, the University aims to bring the local community together with art, culture and history.
Boğaziçi University Museum
The Boğaziçi University Museum houses a variety of documents, furniture, ceramics and other works of art that reflect the history and cultural heritage of the university. The museum is housed in a building that is a rare example of 19th century American architecture in Istanbul and is open to the public. The museum is an important resource for researchers and enthusiasts, bringing the traces of the past to the present.
Classic Car Exhibition
The Classic Car Exhibition at the University's South Square showcases classic Mercedes-Benz models produced between 1950 and 2000. In addition to being a meeting point for car enthusiasts, this event also offers participants the opportunity to learn about these iconic vehicles.

Earthquake Resistant Cities Exhibition
“Earthquake Resistant Cities of Tomorrow” exhibition prepared by Boğaziçi University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute (KRDAE) continues to meet with the public at Salt Beyoğlu. This exhibition aims to raise awareness and share information on how earthquake-resistant cities can be built.
Boğaziçi University contributes to the protection and promotion of cultural heritage by hosting such events in order to ensure that art and culture reach a wide audience and add value to society.

Classic cars met in South Square
The Classic Car Exhibition, organised by Boğaziçi University Culture, Arts and Activities Branch Directorate, was held in Güney Meydan. In the event organised with the contributions of the Classic Mercedes- Benz Club, prominent models produced between 1950 and 2000 were exhibited. In the exhibition, which attracted great interest, club member car owners informed the participants by answering questions about classic cars.

Earthquake Resistant Cities Exhibition by Boğaziçi University
‘Earthquake Resistant Cities of Tomorrow’ exhibition, prepared under the leadership of Boğaziçi University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute (KRDAE) Earthquake Engineering Department, met with visitors hosted by Salt Beyoğlu. The ‘Earthquake Resistant Cities of Tomorrow’ exhibition, the project management of which was undertaken by Prof. Dr. Eser Çaktı and Dr. Emin Yahya Menteşe, faculty members of Boğaziçi University Department of Earthquake Engineering, and the coordination of which belongs to Emine Öner, was realised in cooperation with Pattu Architecture. The exhibition, organised within the scope of the ‘Cities of Tomorrow’ project supported by the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) of the United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI) unit, examined the earthquake phenomenon after the earthquakes of 6 February 2023 from angles that will shed light on the scientific background of the earthquake phenomenon, and addressed the principles of urban design and planning of tomorrow from a social, structural, institutional and spatial perspective.

Boğaziçi University Library Ex-libris Books Exhibition Opened
The Rare Works collection of Boğaziçi University Library includes Islamic manuscripts and works printed in various Ottoman printing presses, as well as many different types of Western works, the oldest of which dates back 500 years. Some of the books stand out with their artistic bindings, some with their special printing techniques, and some with their signatures, notes and ex-libris. With the exhibition, where criteria such as printing types, artistic designs, visual diversity and reflecting the history of the University are taken into consideration in the selection of samples, it is aimed to introduce the ex-libris art, which is an important art branch, and the ex-libris works that stand out in the collection.
